Self Defense and fighting is NOT the Solution to these unfortunate situations. Fighting is never the answer. The Southern Institute of Aikido community outreach project was created to help train others with this in mind. Aikido seeks to blend with an attack and to diffuse any potential situation prior to engaging in a fight. All Martial Arts serious in their approach should always try to diffuse a situation where someone might be harmed or cause any injury.
THE HARD TRUTH
Community Outreach
Self Defense Training

Over the last few years we've unfortunately seen a number of our friends and family members who had been bullied for any number of reasons. The Southern Institute of Aikido launched this project to help bring more awareness to our community on those at the receiving end of such irresponsible disrespectful treatment.

We believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Our doors are open to anyone wanting to learn how to defend themselves. We encourage you to come join us and try a free class.
